BOWEN TECHNIQUE WORKSHOPS

May to July 2024 - These workshops were delivered across 7 dates.

We have now delivered four Bowen Technique courses for free to residents from RBKC as this has been funded from the Grenfell Projects fund funding from RBKC. Those who have completed the course will support in the NK (North Kensington) Pop Up Bowen Clinic offering free treatments within the community.

Our last workshop dates

Bowen Technique workshops commenced on Sunday 12 May 2024 and took place at Bay20 Community Centre, 71 St Marks Road, W10 6JG.

Participants had to commit to the following dates:

May: 12 & 26    June: 9 & 16    July: 7, 14, & 21

On the workshops participants gained knowledge of:-

• Bowen history

• How the technique works

• To whom it can benefit and for it can be useful.

The main part of the workshops consists of hands-on demonstrations, followed by practical applications by the students enabling them to gain the initial tactile experience.

For those who have the aptitude and desire to study further, there is a community Bowen Pop-Up Clinic, where one can gain further practice delivering Bowen to those locals who come along on Tuesday's to the Pop-Up Bowen Clinic.

Our objective is to offer a learning journey in stages, whilst being overseen by Delbert Skeete, to eventually become a BowMaster Specialist.
