SHYNE 2 CHANCE

Supporting families with children with disabilities in North Kensington

The Shyne 2 Chance Project provides parents and carers of disabled children between the ages of six and 13 years old with stay and play sessions. There will be arts and crafts sessions, an outdoor adventure playground and sensory room for all to enjoy. We will provide tea, coffee and light refreshments provided. It will also give parents and carers the chance to socialise with other residents and provide a safe space for their children to play.

This is open to residents of North Kensington with disabilities and parents/carers will need to register to attend, and activities will be supervised by a qualified member of staff.

Monthly facilitators will come in and provide specialist services.

Our next session on Saturday 15 July 2023; we will have a Bowen Technique practitioner attend to treat parents/carers and children onsite and its bubbles theme for the children! Join us from 11am ;)

What is Bowen?

Bowen technique is a form of therapy that uses precise and gentle, rolling hand movements. These motions focus on the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, along with the fascia and skin around them. The idea is to reduce pain by stimulating the nervous system.
